Most wanted games of 2010

We count down the best upcoming games. At the beginning of every year, the IGN editors sit down, look over the publishers' projected release lists and argue over our list of the most anticipated games of the upcoming 12 months.

Then the year actually kicks off, and everything changes. Delays happen, new games are announced and the Electronic Entertainment Expo shakes everything up. So now that E3 is behind us and fall is fast approaching it'll be here sooner that you think , we thought we'd take another look at how the rest of the gaming year is shaping up. We scoped out the list of upcoming games with solid release dates and narrowed it down to the hottest Then we got together and had an old-fashioned vote-off.

Here at IGN, we have a big group of editors with a wide range of tastes in genres, platforms and expectations. Here are their 25 most anticipated games of the second half of I dont think its in order In my opinion.. Gran Turismo should be after it It's an opinion, man. You're not gonna like what they like. Besides, they are not even the same type of racing game. When are people gonna understand that?

Anyone else sick of "Top X Blankiest Blanks" lists being passed off as news around here? Games missing from this horrid list. GT5 so low in the list should be before fable 3 atleast. Ohh wow i didnt even know i was really hoping for a release they better add move support then. Reach is really all I care about this year. The game is going to keep me busy, so I might buy just one more game aside from Reach before Christmas. One thing this list shows though is that theres still around 50 good games to be relesed before the end of the year NFS is up high on that list because its made by Criterion.

Reach is my number one most anticipated game of Civilization 5 and Starcraft 2 should switch places. And its just an opinion people. Their loss :p. Fallout 3 was one of the best games out there when it was released.

So obviously ppl will be dying to play its follow up. Same goes for Civilization 5. It all basically depends on the type of game you want to play.

While I will purchase GT5 the day it releases, I'm not particularly looking forward to it as I know exactly what it will offer based on the previous GT games, a solid, no frills racing sim. You saying Dance Central is bad? While I agree it's odd those 2 games weren't on that list, DC is coming from Harmonix and is the first real dancing game I've ever seen. List is in a fucked up order and they left out some big games like KH: Birth by Sleep.

As I don't have an endless supply of money, I'm only going to be able to get maybe 3 or 4 more games this year. Fallout New Vegas: I don't care if I have too steal it, that's one thing this list got right, it's my number 1 awaited game of the year. Halo Reach: It's Halo, it's awesome, I'm getting it, nuff said. If have any money left it'll go to GT5, quite possibly the best looking game I'll have ever played.

Racing games FTW! Great way to top off the year. People, people.. They like what they like. You like what you like. Move on! Anyway, looking forward to Fable 3, prolly the most.
