Im planning on getting a new valvebody and doing a brand new shift kit to it i dont know if i should go with transgo again. Also im buying the new accumalators. So Baumann shift kits are better than transgo? The Baummanator TCS? Never used it but I was curious how it was. What do you like about it? Karl Baumann is insane The baumannator is very good but i dont think its suitable for me because my transmission is stock Ill beat that shit out.

I have a lentech 3 street eliminator and it hits hard with my 4. But if you get a shift kit, put sub-frames on! So you really think i should go with baumann instead of transgo. What is really good about the baumann is that it also recalibrates the OD gear that is awsome. So if this shiftkit gives me the firmness i want im probably going for it. I chose the 3 setting.

I found a item listed on ebay of a transgo shift kit for 50 "bucks buy it now" I was wondering how much they cost brand new? And if they are hard to install? What do you guys think of them? Joined Nov 2, Messages 15 Reaction score 0. A transgo shift kit goes for like on summit. I believe transgo created the shift kit could be wrong, but they claim they are the original shift kit.
I plan on getting one for my car when funds allow. All of the transgo shift kits come with instructional dvd and detailed written instructions.

There are 3 levels of shift firmness to choose from, I have always went with level 3 myself. The install is pretty easy if your GOOD in the Garage, but if your not comfy doing work on the inside of the pan on a AODE trans better take it to a shop and have them do it.
And yes they work GREAT, all 3 of my cars would chirp 2nd gear after the install and that was keeping it in D and flooring it. I have a plastic piston, so i installed the seal. The new seal is from rubber, the old was an open teflon seal. Now it is difficult to install the piston, with the teflon seal it slides easy in the transmission, with the new seal it is really tight. I can not move it with my hands. Is this ok?
