Get it from here There must be tons of other good applications and vidgets for it but as you need to hunt them it's frustrating. I hope Archos updates to newer Android with all Google goodies and Market soon Any good apps you are using?

Labels: Android , archos. Android on the Archos does not seem to have good app memory management and I was having issues with to many apps running and slowing down. Now with TasKiller, you can put a widget on the screen that you just tap the app icon to kill. Well, seven of those ten apps would interest me. You need to do another post about how you're finding the Archos to be in daily use and life.

Do you have any confidence in them sticking with it? There's been no firmware update this week, which I find spooky given the new YouTube issue. And thats the point for me.

New Version is 1. Hey all. I just released a small update to the Google Calendars. The update includes a fix to the monthly calendar view. It looked a bit squashed because the rest of the screen space needs to be occupied by the events [at the bottom] , so I increased the calendar vertically by 15 pixels, taking that from the evenview at the bottom. I also shortened up the "days of the week" headlines vertically, as to make more space for the actual calendar dates. Thanks to Nokiae50 and Viking from forums.

Thanks to Nokiae50 and Viking for helping me test these widgets!! I've made some fixes to a few of my widgets. Being that as it may, I had made these widgets with a screen length of pixels, NOT taking into account the Archos OS's top menu bar. Archos media center: faster display Thinkfree: v2. Note that sometimes during this process an invalid shortcut might remain on the home screen.

If this happens this shortcut can be removed by a long press and drag towards tray trash icon. Display: add transparency to notification tray background. Windows Mobile Internationalization: add Hebrew glyphs in font and corresponding virtual keyboard layout Location: fix location manager sometimes preventing device suspend System: better management of background applications under high memory pressure.

Wi-Fi: fix disconnection occurring on some devices after a few minutes of web browsing.
